Growatt Inverter Error Code 102 & 117 is a Chinese solar inverter error that is relatively cheaper in the market. However, like other electrical equipment’s it isn’t perfect and free from problems and
faults.
Whenever a growatt inverter experiences a fault it will display an error Code and red light. The solar inverter Growatt Error 102 is the most common error. As it displays the error your solar won’t be producing power. The error Code 102 means that the two CPUs sampling data is inconsistent.
How To Fix Growatt Inverter Error Code 102 & 117 Issue
The issue can easily be resolved through rebooting the Growatt inverter. The following is the procedure.
1. Turn off the Solar supply main switch.
2. Turn off the Pv DC Isolator.
3. Wait for at least 2 min.
4. Turn on the Solar main switch.
5. Turn on the PV Array DC Isolator.
6. Wait for the inverter to restart.
7. Check if the error has disappeared
Error Code 117
It means that there’s an issue with the relay. Just like the error 102, once it’s displayed the
solar won’t be beneficial.
To fix the error it is recommended you restart the Inverter.
1. Turn off the mains supply.
2. Turn off the PV Array DC Isolator.
3. Wait
4. Turn on the solar.
5. Turn on the PV Array DC Isolator.
If the issue continues try contacting the inverter installer.
If you’ve tried but the issue still persists, this means that it’s broken and needs to be replaced. But worry not… if your Growatt hasn’t exceeded the 5 year period, the inverter warranty will cover you.

What Are Other Causes of Inverter Failure?
Unlike solar panels inverters are more sensitive to heat and equipment failure. A reason that
backs this up is because they have more electrical components.
Overheating
Electrical components of inverters are sensitive to temperature, if maximum temperature is
reached it may lead to reduced electricity and underperformance.
Growatt Inverter Error 19 is one such error that indicates overheating in inverters.
Internal Relay Fault
An internal relay is used for protective measures and can sense

● Short circuit
Once it detects the issue it disconnects the circuit in the inverter.
